How do we care for you?
We always put your safety first and strive to make your appointment as comfortable as possible. Many patients decide to take advantage of our anesthetic choices to relieve their anxiety and minimize their stress.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Commonly known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide combined with oxygen can be used during dental treatment to ease anxiety for adults and child. Patients sedated by nitrous oxide are capable of responding to a question or request.
General Anesthesia or Intravenous (IV) Sedation
General Anesthesia is available for all types of oral surgery and dental treatment for children and adults as well. This procedure is a relaxing solution for nervous patients during moderate to severe dental procedures. Sedation drugs are administered through an IV to the patient, allowing for a deeper level of sedation to be reached. The patient likely won’t remember the procedure once the sedation wears off.

Dr. Salome is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association & Clinical Director of Special Olympics Ontario (Special Smiles Program).
She treats patients from the age of 1 to 100 and has an extensive background in General Dentistry, Special Care Dentistry (Special Health Care Needs, Senior Care and Anxiety), Pediatric Dentistry, Hospital Dentistry, Palliative Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, General Anesthesia, Sedation, Prosthodontics, Laser Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics Endodontics, Invisalign and Clear Aligners.
